Trailhead GIS utilizes the
FJ&A MVC Framework for ArcGIS Server in support of Permit Management efforts.
Trailhead GIS has successfully applied the FJ&A MVC Framework for ArcGIS to two seperate ArcGIS Server
implementations comprising four spatially enabled websites. In May of 2011, FJ&A deployed the basic Framework implementation over a three day period that converted all functionality of the legacy
ArcIMS site to utilize the power of ArcGIS Server. Over the subsequent seven months, Custom tools for linking various data tables and displaying the results of multiple queries were developed and
added to the interface. Having completed the original implementation, when the need arose for two more sites to be developed for specific needs, the setup and configuration time was measured in hours of
defining the new project scope. Implementation of the FJ&A MVC Framework for ArcGIS Server continues to pay dividends as new projects arise to meet reporting and regulatory mandates.
As part of its conversion of all legacy ArcIMS sites to ArcGIS Server, Trailhead GIS implemented FJ&A's MVC Framework for ArcGIS Server for the Henry County, OH Auditors Office Real Estate Information site.
The site allows the public to view aerial photos of properties in the county along with public ownership information. Converting this site utilizing the FJ&A Framework for ArcGIS Server allowed the
Trailhead GIS to utilize development efforts from its existing sites and enabled the Henry County site to be converted and operational within a few days.
